Enhancement Overview:
This release delivers enhancements to improve visibility, accuracy, and control in load management. A new setting to hide agency loads for dispatchers helps streamline their view, while the setting-based visibility of pre-planned loads allows greater flexibility in how pre-planned loads are displayed. Additionally, predefined pass-through rates for brokerage load accessorials ensure consistency in cost allocation by applying global or carrier-level rates automatically. These updates reduce manual effort and enhance operational efficiency.
Enhancement Summary:
Setting to Hide Agency Loads for Dispatcher
Setting-Based Visibility of Pre-Planned Loads
Predefined Pass-Through Rates for Brokerage Load Accessorials
Setting to Hide Agency Loads for Dispatcher
New toggles options “Hide Agency Loads ” and “Hide internal Agent Loads” have been introduced in User Settings. Admin users can enable or disable this setting for specific dispatchers. When enabled, the dispatcher’s view will exclude loads assigned to an agency or internal agent while still displaying all other relevant loads.
Setting-Based Visibility of Pre-Planned Loads
We have introduced a new setting “Show Pre-Planned Loads in the Tendered/Booked Pill tab” under system configuration. When this setting is enabled, pre-planned loads will be visible in both the Pre-Planned and Tendered tabs. If the setting is disabled, pre-planned loads will only appear in the Pre-Planned tab.
This enhancement improves load visibility management, giving dispatchers more control and flexibility in how pre-planned loads are displayed.
Predefined Pass-Through Rates for Brokerage Load Accessorials
For brokerage loads, users can now predefine rates to be passed on to external carriers for accessorial charges. When adding an accessorial in a load and enabling the “Pass On to External Carrier” toggle, the predefined rate will automatically populate.
Predefined rates can be set in two ways:
Global Level: Create an accessorial from Setup > Accessorials and enter the desired External Carrier Rate. This rate will apply to all carriers for that accessorial type.
Carrier Level: In the External Carrier Profile, a new Accessorials tab has been added where you can define accessorial types with specific rates for that carrier. If a carrier-level rate is defined, it will override the global rate.
If no predefined rate exists, users still have the option to manually enter the amount while adding the Accessorial to the load. This enhancement ensures consistency in billing, reduces manual effort, and helps maintain accurate cost management when working with external carriers.
