Enhancement Overview:

Smart Waypoint Routing allows dispatchers to guide drivers on a specific route by adding waypoints between pickup and delivery, with full visibility of updated miles and stop details. Waypoints appear across the system like regular stops, including the driver app, maps, confirmations, SMS load info, and settlements.

Smart Waypoint Routing

The new Waypoint feature allows dispatchers to guide drivers to use a specific route by adding an intermediate stop between pickup and delivery. A global setting “Enable Waypoint” has been added under Global Settings → Load; once enabled, dispatchers can use the waypoint functionality.

Users can add a waypoint directly from the load screen, include a reason and notes, and these details will automatically appear in the driver app.

Once added, the route will be updated to show miles to the waypoint and remaining miles to the next stop, ensuring full visibility.

Waypoints appear throughout the system just like regular stops: they display on the map as Red circle, show up on rate confirmations and driver sheets, SMS load info, and are included in settlements.
