Enhancement Overview:

Several enhancements have been added to improve operational control and visibility. In the Missing POD tab, a new Request POD button allows users to send POD requests directly to carriers. The Settlement module now includes a Date Range Control on Balances, enabling users to filter balances according to the selected date range while auto-selecting linked balances for selected loads. For PC Miler routing, a Hazmat Type dropdown has been added to calculate mileage based on the specific Hazmat type, with General selected by default. A Tarp Required checkbox has been added on loads, which also notifies drivers on the app when tarping is needed. Finally, a new global setting allows users to control whether tracking status on the Dispatch Info screen syncs automatically with driver milestone updates, giving flexibility to either auto-update or maintain manual control.

Enhancement Summary:

  • Request POD Feature in Missing POD Tab

  • New Date Range Control for Balances in Settlement Module

  • Hazmat Type Selection for PC Miler Routing

  • Tarp Required Option on Load

  • Tracking Status Sync Control in Dispatch Info Screen

Request POD Feature in Missing POD Tab

In the Dispatch module under the Missing POD tab, a new “Request POD” button has been added. When a user selects a load and clicks this button, the system will send a POD request notification to the carrier, reminding them to submit the POD.

New Date Range Control for Balances in Settlement Module

A new toggle “Apply Date Range on Balances” has been added in the Settlement module. When this toggle is enabled, the selected date range will apply to both loads and balances. When the toggle is disabled, all balances will be shown regardless of date range, and the balance linked to the selected load will auto-select.

Note: This will only apply to balances created from load.

Hazmat Type Selection for PC Miler Routing

When a load is marked as Hazmat, users can now select a Hazmat Type to ensure the mileage is calculated according to Hazmat routing in PC Miler. A dropdown has been added on the load with the following Hazmat types: General, Caustic, Explosives, Flammable, Inhalants, Radioactive, Harmful To Water, and Tunnel. General will be selected by default and its also worked on split level.

Once the Hazmat Type is selected, the system will calculate mileage based on that Hazmat routing.

Tarp Required Option on Load

A new Tarp Required checkbox has been added on the load. If selected, the driver will also see this requirement on the Driver App, indicating that tarping is needed for that load.

Tracking Status Sync Control in Dispatch Info Screen

A new global setting “Disable Auto-Update Tracking Status from Driver Milestones” has been added. This setting allows tenants to control whether the tracking status on the Dispatch Info screen should automatically sync with milestone updates made by drivers from the mobile app.

  • When the setting is OFF, the tracking status will automatically update and reflect any changes drivers make to milestones.

  • When the setting is ON, the tracking status will not change automatically, even if drivers update milestones, giving users full control over when and how the status is updated.

This provides flexibility for tenants to choose whether they want the Dispatch Info screen to stay in sync with mobile updates or maintain manual control.
