Introduction
Accessorials are created for loads in scenarios where there is any extra amount to be charged or paid such as detention, lumper, and tarp fees. In some cases we can charge the customer and also pay the driver. We have multiple accessorials created in the system by default like detention and stop off. This article has all the information required to create a new accessorial but for more information regarding other modules visit our Help Center.
Navigation
To create an accessorial, go to the Main Menu, select Setup and then Accessorials. This is the main page where you can create new accessorials and view the existing ones.
Filters
In this module, we have one open search bar where we can search by the accessorial name or accessorial code. There is an advanced filter which you can use to search by the name of the accessorial.
Create New Accessorial
To create a new accessorial, click on the βcreate new accessorialβ button on the top right corner of the screen.
Here you will have the options to add details about the accessorial. You can add the name, accessorial code, and also choose the status. If the rate and unit are going to be the same for all the loads of this accessorial, then you can just add them here and then whenever you create a new accessorial with this type it will auto-populate the unit and rate. You will also have an option to add any description, this is an open field so you can also add any details here. The βReq Paid Byβ is an optional toggle that we can turn on to allow the users to choose who paid for the accessorial, so they can be paid by the customer then. If it was paid by the driver or booking authority then the amount will show up in the invoice.
Edit an Accessorial
If you click on actions, you also have the option to edit or delete an accessorial type but you cannot delete the ones created by default.
