Summary

The following new features have been added for a better customer experience:

  • Fuel Summary Items

  • Accessorial Tab in Customer’s Profile

  • Updates in ‘Create new accessorial’ and ‘Edit Accessorial’

  • Changes to 'Create new Load Accessorial'

  • “Chassis” added as Van Type dropdown option n Load

1. Fuel Summary Items

New fuel summary items have been added under the pills in ‘Fuel Purchases’.

Main menu > Financials > Fuel Purchases

  1. Total PreDiscount Amount → Sum of all transactions pre-discount

  2. Total Discount Amount → Sum of all transactions with discount

  3. Total Fuel for Driver → Amount that the user will deduct from drivers (mix of discount enabled and no discount, whatever the user charges)

  4. Fuel Margin → Total Discounted Amount minus Total Fuel for Driver Settlement

A new column has been in the grid called ‘Driver Deduction Amount’. It reflects the Fuel Amount to be deducted from Driver.

Driver Deduction Amount → (From) Financials > Balances > Driver Balances > Amount

2. Accessorial Tab in Customer's Profile

A new tab called “Accessorial” has been added to the customer’s profile.

Main menu > CRM > Customers > Customer’s profile

In the Accessorial tab, the following has been added:

  • Drop down to choose from existing Accessorials and a save button.

  • Create a New Accessorial

  • A list of all the accessorials added for this customer.

1. Drop down to choose from existing Accessorials and a save button.

The drop-down has a list of all the existing accessorials on Global Level that can be used to add to the customer's profile and apply to that particular customer. Once the save button is pressed, the system will open accessorial in Edit Mode. The user will add the details that they want to save it. Once the Edit Accessorial screen is saved, it will only be saved in the customer accessorial and not in Setup>Accessorial.

2. Create New Accessorial

The ‘Create New Accessorial’ pop-up is the same that we have in Setup>Accessorial. After adding all the required details, when the user saves the accessorial, it will be added under the global accessorial (Setup > Accessorial). The user can then use the dropdown to add the newly created accessorial to the customer profile. The system does not allow multiple accessorials with the same name.

3. A list of all the accessorials added for this customer.

In the list of accessorials following columns are shown:

  • Actions: The user will have the option to edit or delete the accessorial added to the list

  • Accessorial Name: Name added in the accessorial

  • Accessorial Code

  • Units

  • Rate

  • Comments

There are three ways to create an accessorial:

1. Create a new accessorial from Setup

Main menu > Setup > Accessorials > Create new accessorial

2. Create a new accessorial from the customer’s profile as discussed earlier

3. Selecting the accessorial from the drop down in the customer’s profile

3. Updates in ‘Create new accessorial’ and ‘Edit Accessorial’

The new ‘Create new accessorial’ and ‘Edit Accessorial’ have the following fields:

  • Name

  • Accessorial Code

  • Accessorial Fee Type > Unit

    • Per Hour

    • Per Day

    • Per Mile

    • Flat Fee

  • Rate

  • Req Paid By? (Toggle)

  • Status Toggle

  • Description

Accessorial grid has the following columns now:

  • Name

  • Accessorial Code

  • Units

  • Rate

  • Req Paid By?

  • Status Toggle

Main menu > Setup > Accessorials

Note: Once an accessorial has been created in Setup, it will show in the dropdown in the accessorial section in the customer’s profile. While saving the selected accessorial from the dropdown, some fields will be locked (not editable) e.g. Name, Accessorial Code, and Units, while some will be editable e.g. rate and description.

4. Changes to 'Create new Load Accessorial'

The setup added in the accessorial setup or the customer accessorial will be selected and shown while adding an accessorial in the load.

Dispatch > Loads > Load > Accessorial

Following changes have been made to Create New Load Accessorial:

  • Accessorial Drop Down

  • Internal Ref #

  • Rate

  • Unit

    • Per Hour

    • Per Day

    • Per Mile

    • Flat Fee

  • Amount

  • Pass on to the driver toggle

  • Invoice comments

The system will follow the following hierarchy to apply the rate to an accessorial on the loads' screen:

  1. Add accessorial on load

  2. Check if the custom rate is set up for that accessorial in the customer’s profile

  3. If yes, apply the rate

  4. If no, use the rate that exists in the gobal settings

5. “Chassis” added as Van Type dropdown option in Load

On Loads Detail screen, “Chassis” has been added as a dropdown option under “Van type”.

Dispatch > Loads > Create new load
